Purple Themed Wedding Cake

 Made this very simple wedding cake for a "Kenduri Malay Wedding", requested the lilac/purple theme with the couple's initial!! So heres the final result!! hehe..

30th Anniversary Cake

This was my 1st Anniversary Cake that I managed to take as the past few times, I've got enquiries to do anniversary cake, its always on the wrong timing.. either I've got too many orders that day and unable to take more or Im away on a holiday hehe..:P

So was really glad I managed to take this one! The request came from this girl who wants to suprise her parents on their 30th anniversary!! WOwwww..How sweet is that???  :))

Mr Huff Bear

 

I created this very playful and cute cake for a customer who requested a cake to celebrate her 21 years old brother.  But she wanted something very cute, non-human figurines and colourful but not girlish! So here comes Mr. Huff Bear who loves to blow candles on your cake! Mr Huff Bear loves to play basketball and he's very funky yet soo adorably cute!! Choose the light blue and light brown colour with the red wording in order to create a soft masculine yet colourful cake!! :))

Elmo goes to Jakarta!!

This was a special request from one of my favourite cousin guy who lived in Jakarta.  So happened, my mum visited me in Malaysia and also dropping by to Jakarta to see her family.  So yeah, since it was such a last minute (a night before) and I happened to have other order, managed to make only half a dozen of Elmo cupcakes!! :))

Elegant Minnie Mouse Cake for Sweet 16th Birthday!

YUP!!! Another Minnie Mouse Theme Cake!! I reckoned, theres just something soo eye catching with polka dots!! I know, me, myself, is a fan of polkadots hehe.. soo cute n playful!! This time its for a teenager, sweet sixteen birthday, so I tried to make it more elegant by doing the name plague using *blings* (non-edible unfortunately) and to add ribbon and shimmers to it!! What do you think?? Do you like it??

Thomas The Train ~ He's The Cheecky One!

Another Thomas The Train Themed.. ever so popular with kids below 5 years old.. Lol.. so yeah, this time, requested in cupcakes themed set!  My customer liked the previously designed Thomas & Friends Cupcakes set, but only opted for a single Thomas!  So this time, I decided to make the wording more colourful in Thomas's Themed colour (red & blue of course!!).. I kinda liked the final result, simple and nice!! Happy Birthday Kai Jun.. hope you liked your Thomas bday cupcakes!! :)

Hellokitty Theme

YAY!! HELLOKITTY is "IN" again now!! Almost everywhere I went, in shops, I saw Hellokitty, toys shops selling a lot of hellokitty games, tea set, even a card maker and a badge maker.. almost tempted to buy one the other day!! *grin**.. I remembered when I was a lil girl, I used to be soo in love with Hellokitty & friends, the Sanrio Collection, used to collect their stationeries, stickers, mugs, shirt, etc.. They are just too cute.. and pink!! hehehe.. so it wasnt a suprise that a lot of little girls are hellokitty fans.. and that explained this second order on the hellokitty theme!! This time, they wanted some cupcakes, a mini Hellokitty cake and the popcorn pack with the pink polkadots case and the matching thank you tag!!

My First Big Wedding Order - 400 cupcakes!!

The past 3 weeks, my energy and most of my time were spent on this 'big event' .. YAY.. MY FIRST BIG ORDER FOR A WEDDING!! What was my feeling?  hmmmm.....lets see!! * NERVOUS* , * EXCITED* , * HAPPY* ,* SCARED* TICK TICK TICK TO ALL plus more!! I cant really describe it but those cake decorators out there, Im pretty sure you know what Im talking about! * lol* At one stage, I thought to myself, why did I agreed to this? I mean, Im a fulltime working mother but I did decided to take a day off work just to complete this order! Plus.. I was soo lucky, my mum & sister who lived in Australia actually came to Malaysia to visit me and boy was it good timing or what!! If it wasnt for them, Im not sure how I could pull it off!! Thank you sooo sooo much MUM & SIS for the great help in this order!! Greatly appreciated it!!  Especially during the mishaps that happened that day.. You see, I had a slight accident accident where one of the box that I kept 60 cupcakes fell down and toppled on the floor.. and more than half were ruined.. luckily i baked extra cupcakes and have a spare fondant decors (purposely did extras).. and the fact that we're 3 hours ahead of schedule!! Thank God for that!!!

Anyway, the order was a cupcakes as the wedding favour for each attendee guest.  I kept the design simple as I didnt dare to proposed too complicated design as this was my first! (didnt want to stuff it up .. :P).  There were 2 designs to this (one was a flower and another was the couple's initial in a heart shaped fondant).  The wedding tags were included in the packaging!

I wanted the bear bride to have a bit of sparkle.. so I used this non-edible crystal as her pendant.. hihi..
