Sweet Teddy Bear Dessert Table

Lately I've been very much obsessed with dessert table.  For those of you who has been my loyal followers would probably have known that I loves to play with theme colours and everything has to be colour coded. To do it in cakes & cupcakes is one thing but to go beyond that is totally a different thing.  I am absolutely loving this colour theme.  Its for a baby boy who turned one year old.  Everything including the clipart was customised.

Fondant bears... seeing em' makes me so happy :)

Pink Hello Kitty Dessert Table

I was so excited when I was asked to do a "Hello Kitty Dessert Table" my all time childhood favourite soft toys, shes just too cute! All the planning took weeks, lots of searching of hellokitty items, I was so lucky that I managed to find a whole bunch of kitty items.

Here are the details of the party, all cakes, desserts, decoration, set ups and photos are done by me (yes many many hours of staying up late! )

Once upon a Time...

"Once upon a time there lives a "Princess" who lives in a Beautiful Big Castle. One day, She was very bored & lonely having to enjoy the luxury of being just a princess .. so one day she decided to explore the castle without anybody knowing, slowly, tiptoeing, she went from room to room .. until she stumbled upon the kingdom's chef's baking room.. She was so fascinated with the warm ambience of t...hat tiny room and the nice aroma of the freshly made cookies, so she decided to have a bit of fun! She baked her first cookies which turns out very black & salty, as she has never baked before, she destroyed the chef's mixer as she didnt know that the butter has to be at room temperature before mixing.. it was apparent that the room was in its upside down state..SUDDENLY, the Kingdom's feared chef came in.. and he was soo MAD.. You see he was actually an Evil Magician who has a bad motive.. so he shouted at her and...." to be continue on my next princess cake...:PPPP hahaha.. "

Anyway, heres a veryyy veryy long overdue pictures of the "Princess Theme Set" I did last year!! I have other pictures that is longg overdue too.. I apologised for not updating earlier, this is due to the maid crisis ive recently encounter.. so yeah, not trying to whinge or complain as Im now a fulltime working mother (in a 9-6pm office job), and having to takecare of my 4yrs old son, while trying to juggle cleaning the house, cooking for the family and making these cake order (hence limiting myself to only 1 order a week now)... So yeah..without further do... ill let the pictures do the blogging!! heheeh..:P

"Counting Numbers with Barney" themed Party ~ preparation

Last month,  my little boy (Branden) turned 4 and he has already decided on the type of cake & themed for his party two months back.. You see, he has this "obsession" for numbers.  He loves numbers so so much and he would go around counting every single numbers, write them, count them, and even took the calculator along with him everywhere.. I think it started cos of the "count with me - barney dvd".. which in a way is a good thing as when he was 3.5 years old, he knew his maths well (addition of 1-10) and he knows how to count to 1000. Anyway, he wants me to make a shape "4" cake for his birthday cake, with all the colourful numbers around it and he wants barney to be in the picture too.  It took me several weeks of *scratching my head* to try to team the both theme together yet to have a nice elegant feeling to it.  So this was what I come up with .. *grin*.. and Im actually pretty happy with it.. hehe..

This was my inspiration after spending hours on google!! :P
