Dont You just loved a matching party themed??? Well, I am totally obssessed in creating a themed dessert table and this time, a very lucky boy get to have all those goodies!! This boy has the same name as my son "Brandon Tan" (except my son's spelling is with an "E" instead of "O").. how weird is that??  Pity my 3.5yrs old boy who already knew how to spell his name kept asking me.. "Mummy.. is that for me?".. my heart just break each time he asked that.. especially this time round.. All the nicest cake n goodies that I make, he'll come up to me and said.. "Mummy, thats very nice.. is it for me??" with those puppy eyed look.. and it breaks my heart when I said 'No darling.. its for so and so' and this time around he said..but it has my name on it.. sighhh!!! So I tell him that you're not 10 years old right.. so its not for you darling! He went away with that sad look on his face.. totally breaks my heart.. I promised I'll do something special for your coming birthday love!!

My First Big Wedding Order - 400 cupcakes!!

The past 3 weeks, my energy and most of my time were spent on this 'big event' .. YAY.. MY FIRST BIG ORDER FOR A WEDDING!! What was my feeling?  hmmmm.....lets see!! * NERVOUS* , * EXCITED* , * HAPPY* ,* SCARED* TICK TICK TICK TO ALL plus more!! I cant really describe it but those cake decorators out there, Im pretty sure you know what Im talking about! * lol* At one stage, I thought to myself, why did I agreed to this? I mean, Im a fulltime working mother but I did decided to take a day off work just to complete this order! Plus.. I was soo lucky, my mum & sister who lived in Australia actually came to Malaysia to visit me and boy was it good timing or what!! If it wasnt for them, Im not sure how I could pull it off!! Thank you sooo sooo much MUM & SIS for the great help in this order!! Greatly appreciated it!!  Especially during the mishaps that happened that day.. You see, I had a slight accident accident where one of the box that I kept 60 cupcakes fell down and toppled on the floor.. and more than half were ruined.. luckily i baked extra cupcakes and have a spare fondant decors (purposely did extras).. and the fact that we're 3 hours ahead of schedule!! Thank God for that!!!

Anyway, the order was a cupcakes as the wedding favour for each attendee guest.  I kept the design simple as I didnt dare to proposed too complicated design as this was my first! (didnt want to stuff it up .. :P).  There were 2 designs to this (one was a flower and another was the couple's initial in a heart shaped fondant).  The wedding tags were included in the packaging!

I wanted the bear bride to have a bit of sparkle.. so I used this non-edible crystal as her pendant.. hihi..

Wedding Theme Cupcakes

Dont you just loved going to wedding dinner where one is beautifully decorated and all the matching colours themed... and everything just soo pretty and delightful to see.. well im one of those gals who loves colour themes and wedding is usualy very visually appealing.. so recently when I was asked to do cupcakes for wedding gift favour, I was very excited.. and therefore busy searching for a nice packaging etc to go with the wedding theme cupcakes.. To me Packaging is equally important to the product in it as I believed that a beautifully presented gift shows that the person giving has taken the extra time with it and its truly a gift from the heart... haha its just me and my perception..

Anyway, I did this dozenssss of pink & white theme cupcakes for the wedding of Alan & Stephanie which was held at Equatorial Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The cupcakes were packed in a twin box, each set contains white and pink cupcakes decorated with pretty lil flowers and pearl candy, wrapped in gold ribbon and comes with a personalised tag that writes the Bride & Groom's name and their special date... Simply delightful dont you think so??

I also made this extra gift for the Bride and Groom themselves to express my "CONGRATULATIONS" on their special day. The set of wedding cupcakes gift with pretty rose, Bride&Groom sugar piece with their initial and the word CONGRATULATION.. I hope they'll like this and would like to wish them a very Happy Marriage that'll last forever.. Congrats again to you both Alan & Stephanie.. and thank you for the order!! :)

Lil Princesses and their Cat Bodyguards!!

Made these 50 cupcakes for this 3 years old Girl as the party favour pack (goody bag) to give away to all her lil cute friends. The flavour was lemon cupcakes with lemon frosting. The theme was a free design so I decided to do a combination of Princess doll and lil cute cats with gold hat as the bodyguards.. hehe.. I also did some ducks design as the mother of the lil girl told me that she loves duck.

Packaging is plastic box individually fit for a regular size cupcake. Perfect for parties, weddings etc. The box include a personalised label that stated the thank you notes from the birthday girl!!
