Lately I've been very much obsessed with dessert table.  For those of you who has been my loyal followers would probably have known that I loves to play with theme colours and everything has to be colour coded. To do it in cakes & cupcakes is one thing but to go beyond that is totally a different thing.  I am absolutely loving this colour theme.  Its for a baby boy who turned one year old.  Everything including the clipart was customised.

Fondant bears... seeing em' makes me so happy :)

Colourful Cake for 1 year old

For those of you who followed my blog and seen my creations, you all probably aware, I have my own signature design as Im quite a simple person, I like my cake to be simple and elegant, I dont play with a lot of colours on my cakes and I usually only choose 3-4 main colours on my design and have the whole design revolved around that colour pallete.  So this next cake was a request from the customers, she gave me the picture of the cake that she liked and wanted her daughter's cake to be almost exactly like that.  Its a lot of colours and may seems very easy to do at first glance.. boyyyy was I wrong.. nevertheless, although its not what I normally would do, the result turns out to be quite good.  My 3.5yrs old son saw the cake the first thing when he wakes up in the morning and commented.. "wow.. mummy.. your cake is so colourful and nice!! " I guess this cake makes little kids happy looking at it as its just bursting with colours!! hehe.. :)

The baby figurine was made out of syrofoam and credit goes to my HB who helped me in shaping it! :P

Pooh's 1st Picnic!

I did this cake abt 2 wks back for a little gal's 1st birthday.  Her mom told me that She absolutely loves Pooh & Tiger and wanted this theme but in a very girly colour.  The tiger's idea was taken from Fantastic Cake as i was browsing for some ideas! Thank you fantastic cake , you're very creative and i lovedd your tiger!! :))

A sweet Customised 2 Tiers Cakes

I've got this request to do a 2 tiers cakes (the bottom of the cake's diameter is 22cm and the top is 15cm, height abt 8cm) for a 1st year Birthday of the customer's daughter.. she emailed me the design of the cake (so yeah, wanted to credit whoever did this design, this time its not my design but fully owe it to whoever made this similar cake out there, the original cake has a cow figurine on top) but for this cake, customer requested of a little baby girl figurine wearing a customised dress alike (that she'll be wearing during the party) and beside her to have a cow figurine.  So yeah..this is the result.. a very fresh chic looking, simple, elegant yet playful and sweet looking cake.. Im totally loving this cake!!! What you think???
